I had to do some surgery on that copy of Soundgarden’s Badmotorfinger before I could play it. The tape relocated on top of the slip sheet inside the shell. I had to cut down a dress shirt collar stay to push inside the opening at the edge of the tape feed and hope I could snag enough of the tape to push it back over the slip sheet and then run the tape over the surface of a hot coffee mug to “iron” out folds that happened during the surgery. But it has great sound with no skips or dropoff afterward so I’m calling it a success! And Chedar is celebrating the win with me.
