I know Brandon Lee is much more lithe and fits well within the alleyway walls to either side of the original poster image. I could’ve done that here, but this Mighty Maniax is so beefy that he would’ve been tiny. So I left him slightly larger and, I’ll tell ya what, I like how he looks like he’s breaking a fourth wall here and walking out of the poster into our reality. I’ll take it! Plus it’s a badass figure!
I got your back, brother!
When this collab was announced, I had this image in mind of an old G.I. Joe comic cover (#6) where two highly unlikely characters teamed up. In the case of GIJ, they were enemies, but here it was just two “unlikely” allies because they never really crossed paths. I liked it, so I shot it. You can see the cover below.
